What You'll Do

    As a Technology Engineer at Carbon Provenance, you will work on developing and implementing cutting-edge solutions that enable the trading of carbon credits as a digital currency. You will collaborate with a team of experts in the field of carbon credits, blockchain technology, and software development to create innovative products and services that help us achieve our mission of promoting sustainability and combating climate change.
    In this role, you will have the opportunity to: - Design and develop software applications that enable the trading of carbon credits - Work with blockchain technology to ensure the authenticity and traceability of carbon credits - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement new features and enhancements - Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes

Who You Are

    To be successful in this role, you should have: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field - Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) - Experience with blockchain technology and/or distributed systems - Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills - Strong written and verbal communication skills
    It would be a plus if you have: - Experience with smart contracts and/or Ethereum - Knowledge of carbon markets and/or sustainability - Familiarity with agile methodologies - Experience with containerization and/or Kubernetes
